Let's get this out of the way up front: it looks like I've been wasting my life. I'm nearing the 75-hour mark in my Patapon 2 save, and it looks like that data won't carry over to Patapon 3. I started a new game and Patapon 3 didn't ask me if I had played before and if it could load my old save like the game did in Patapon 2.

The game offers authentic, action-oriented sword fighting, lancing and archery that all ages can play together.

We've already seen EyePet a couple of times, but at this year's E3 the game was on display in 3D. In case you haven't been paying attention, EyePet is a sugary, adorable pet simulation featuring a monkey-like creature that you can interact with using the PlayStation Eye and Move controller.

My demo of Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep took me by surprise. I knew that the Kingdom Hearts series can get a little ridiculous, but immediately after I unpaused the game to start playing, I found my main character surfing on a massive keyblade through the blazing light of subspace.

It's no secret that the original Valkyria Chronicles, a beautiful strategy role-playing game on the PlayStation 3, was one of my favorite games for Sony's current-gen system. The game told a great anime-style story and featured a rare blend of strategy role-playing and third-person shooting. Although I was disappointed to learn that the sequel wasn't going to hit the PlayStation 3, I was just happy to see that the series would continue with Valkyria Chronicles II, for the PSP.
